At Camira Dental we aim to provide dental services to each and every patient as if they were a family member. With today's modern advancements in anaesthetics, we use specific techniques when giving injections to reduce, and in most cases, eliminate any pain. We find this helps our patients to relax and trust us, reducing any stress or anxiety when visiting the dentist.
We exercise great care, have high standards of workmanship and infection control and only use local Australian Laboratories for any Prosthetic Work e.g. Crowns, Bridges, Implants and Dentures.

Family Owned & Run
Camira Dental was established in 1992 by Bryan Dowse in partnership with his wife, Roslyn; both continue to run the practice 26 years later.

Run On time Service
We offer after hour services on most weekdays until 8pm. Appointments are made according to your requirements.
Bulk Billing
Our practice accepts all health funds and bulk bills Veteran Affairs and Government Medicare Schemes for eligible patients.
About Camira Dental
Bryan Dowse graduated in Dentistry from the University of Queensland in 1981. He worked in a private practice in Charleville in Western Queensland before moving to the United Kingdom to broaden his experience. On his return to Queensland, Bryan worked at the Ipswich Hospital for five years which helped him gain further experience in the public sector. His extensive knowledge and passion in the industry lead to the establishment of Camira Dental in 1992.
As the Principal Dentist at Camira Dental since its inception in 1992, Bryan has mentored both Dental Assistants and Dentists in their careers and is proud of the fact that people who have worked here are sought after in the industry.
Camira Dental Services
While we continue to provide dental care to all our current clientele, new patients are also welcome. We aim to cater for each patients’ individual needs, taking into consideration not only their dental health, but also other circumstances that may impact upon it.
Your Dentist will discuss the cost of different treatment options and what the procedures will entail. We will not try to simply sell you the most complex and expensive treatment, but that which most suits your needs.

Bryan Dowse
Bryan attended Ipswich Grammar School then graduated in Dentistry from the University of Queensland in 1981.
Ellen Pun
Ellen attended Somerville House Brisbane, then attended the University of Queensland graduating with her dental degree in 2010.
Kandy Chiu
Kandy grew up and attended high school in Auckland, New Zealand. She studied dentistry at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, graduating with a dental degree in 2012.

We do not do online booking’s as we have to select the correct amount of time for your individual needs and only by talking directly to one of our qualified staff will this be achieved.
As such, we don’t have a generic time for every appointment. We attempt to accurately match each appointment to your requirements, this way we can treat each patient effectively and for the most part run on time.
Our friendly staff are more than happy to answer any of your questions.
